Tammy Bursick has worked for the City of Vero Beach for the last 34 years in the City Clerk’s office. She served as the Deputy City Clerk for the first 10 years before being promoted to the City Clerk. She is a member of the Treasure Coast Pilot Club and is active with the local United Way. Tammy has served on the Board of Trustees for Unity Spiritual Center. She owns a wine shop in Charleston, South Carolina with her husband.
Barbara Petrillo has served on many committees, volunteered with the local Chamber of Commerce, and was an active participant in the St Jude CT Network, raising over $300,000 for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She has been a member of the Indian River Ladies’ Guild for Hibiscus Children’s Center serving on numerous committees and co-chairing events such as ‘Wine and Dine: A Taste of Italy’. She has been a member of the Board of Trustees for Unity Center of Vero Beach. She has also been involved in banking, and Real Estate where she was appointed to the local Board of Realtors as a Director.
Susan Rane (Vero Vino Co-Founder, Chair) has been a resident of Vero Beach since 2001. Susan is currently a top-producer with Keller Williams Realty Vero Beach, receiving ‘Rookie of the Year’ in her first year of Real Estate. She is a certified Feng Shui consultant and QiGong instructor. She is also the author of a book titled Celebrate Life! She has extensive service as President of the Board of Trustees at Unity Center of Vero Beach.
Patty Carlson brings extensive knowledge of the wine industry as the Co-owner and founder of Silver Leaf Vineyard & Winery from Suttons Bay, Michigan. Their estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir won awards in international competitions. She has also been a registered Nurse for almost 40 years. She understands the importance of ‘giving back’, participating in voluntary organizations since the 7th grade.
Glenn Ferdinand (Marketing Director) enjoyed 10 years of broadcasting both in news production and on-air programs. He is an avid music enthusiast. He served as President of the Board of Trustees at Unity Center of Vero Beach as well as The Youth Coordinator where he relished the sight of a ‘light bulb’ going off in the eyes of youth. He hails from New Orleans, the King of Festivals, and envisions the Vero Vino Fest as an event that will bring outsiders and tourists into our community as it grows.
Norman Wells has lived in the Vero Beach area for most of his life. Norman was a professional firefighter for 32 years retiring as a battalion chief of operations. After retirement he met his lovely wife Dr. Deborah Brown and now, they enjoy being involved in philanthropic activities. Norman recently entered the workforce again in the financial industry as a financial advisor.
Deborah Bishop Brown has recently moved from Colorado to Vero Beach. She is a family physician who completed her undergraduate and doctoral studies at the University of Connecticut graduating with honors for both degrees. Dr. Brown also served as chief of staff at Grand River Hospital in Rifle, Colorado and also served her country for more than six years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, stationed in California and Italy. She relocated to Vero Beach, where she met her wonderful husband Norman Wells and they enjoy spending time with their families, traveling and supporting philanthropic activities.
